Creating our Logo- 2

We have decided to change our logo, to make it appear more dynamic and dark.

This is because our previous logo did not reflect our Media Group as a thriller company, as it had light colours and a pleasant appearance. The main problem was that it did not look like a logo which defeated the purpose.

First, I created a black background, so that the logo could work well with the dark tones to fit the theme. This was done using the colour picker and paint tool.

Next, I added the Elliptical Marquee tool to create the oval shape, along with the gradient tool. This created a gradual fade between the black and light grey colours and made the 3D appearance of a sphere.

Next, I used text to write out the company logo, ‘MediaCFZ’. I added in a drop shadow, outer glow and bevel and emboss effect to make the text appear bold and 3D. This white colour was chosen because it stood out from the darker tones

Finally, I removed the background layer so that the logo was seen by itself. The final result was successful and so we have decided to use this as the new MediaCFZ logo.
