eDAMIS glossary of terms◦ Theme – areas of statistics divided into◦ Domains – related groups of statistical data and◦ Datasets – which are groups of tables belonging

to particular Domain◦ Each Dataset has so called Dataset Occurrence,

which reflects set of data for specified reference period and frequency

◦ Data file with statistical data reflects physical manifestation of the Dataset occurrence

◦ Eurostat defined clear system of naming for above terms

Each domain has unique name defined by Domain Manager in coordination with ADM◦ For example – ANI (animal husbandry domain)

Each table (or group of tables) covering similar sub-group of data are defined as Dataset name begins from Domain and “_” (underscore) and is continued with the table (group) name◦ For example – ANI_TRADCHI (trading with chicken)◦ The name is followed by “_” (underscore) and a

character that defines frequency for the data files
