Discussion
7/8/2016 EUBrasilCloudFORUM, July 6th, 2016, Porto
Alegre, RS, BR 16
Potential questions for audience (if time permits). We will send these post event also for attendees.
1. Is/Are there any of these scenario(s) of particular relevance to your project?
a) If yes, is there some particular aspect of it that you
would like to highlight?
b) If no, is there another future scenario you would like to propose from your project that can also assist in finding the gaps and necessary research opportunities for EUBR cooperation in future calls?
7/8/2016 EUBrasilCloudFORUM, July 6th, 2016, Porto
Alegre, RS, BR 17
Potential questions for audience (if time permits). We will send these post event also for attendees.
2. Do you feel that the Research Opportunities (OP1, .. OP7) as presented from these future scenarios are relevant to your projects? Any others?
OP1. Common technological & legal framework for managing security & privacy aspects on cloud
OP2. Creation of an EU-BR community to work on common standards
OP3. Cloud federation and Open Science Cloud at cross-regional level

Potential questions for audience (if time permits). We will send these post event also for attendees.
3. International cooperation is not an easy task and requires a lot of patience and time. What are the issues encountered and how did you address them?
7/8/2016 EUBrasilCloudFORUM, July 6th, 2016, Porto
Alegre, RS, BR 19
Potential questions for audience (if time permits). We will send these post event also for attendees.
4. This WG has primarily dealt with future scenarios and their drivers and research opportunities.
To get a broader perspective on Cloud Computing R&I between EUBR, what other WGs should there be? E.g. Standards, SLAs, Privacy, Trust management, ….
Would you be interested to be part of a WG(s) on any of these? Would you be interested in being part of a SIG for SBC?

Potential questions for audience (if time permits). We will send these post event also for attendees.
1. Do you think that we have captured all of the relevant drivers (challenges)? Are there any missing?
2. From your perspective, can you let us know why you feel EU - Brazil collaboration can contribute in a meaningful way towards carrying out cloud computing research challenges resulting from trying to achieve these future scenarios?
3. What are the research challenges being addressed in your project and can they contribute towards the fulfilment of these future scenarios, or any similar ones of particular interest to your project?
4. How does your project contribute to EU-BR cooperation and cloud computing, including security aspects?
7/8/2016 EUBrasilCloudFORUM, July 6th, 2016, Porto
Alegre, RS, BR 21
5. What are the benefits and expected impact to your project brought on by international cooperation between EU and Brazil?
6. As a follow up to the previous question, what are your recommendations for improving effectiveness of international cooperation?
7. According to the expectations on international cooperation projects in H2020, they should be heavily based on mutual benefits gained by both parties and not just identifying stakeholders in each country and who are the counterparts are in the countries and isolated topics of cooperation. What are your projects plans to take this mutual benefit approach for a longer term strategy?
8. As follow up to previous question, is there anything that EUBrasilCloudForum can do to help you with this mutual benefit WIN-WIN strategy?
