Apple launched new maps. Level of clarity in map gives an amazing view. It has a feature to tilt and rotate phone. On rotation the street names and name of places visible on maps will remain as such.

Contacts: Not only calendar is going to be integrated with facebook. Your Contact book is going to sync with facebook. This is amazing. Next time one of my friends update contact information on facebook. My contact book gets new update and I do not need to make manual update.


Shared Photo Streams

Sharing photos is made easy with iOS6.0. Earlier you shared a photo with your friend and photo is transferred through email. The other guys open inbox and download photo in photos gallery. iOS made it straight. Share a photo with your friend and it goes directly to photo gallery of your friend.

Web: For people not using iPhone, iPod or iPad device they can share photo on web.

Comments: You get a photo from your friend into your photo gallery. You open it and share comment. How simple it is.


Passbook

A small feature with a big potential. Your are checking in for a flight and you carry your iPhone and scan it. You are on board. iPhone made it so simple. But what about iPhone applications already providing this type of functionality. It is time for them to wake up and compete with this app.

Automation: Apple says" You passes appear on your Lock screen at the appropriate time and place". Seems application is tracking user current location and activates relevant passes at place required.

Wallet: Passbook serves as a wallet for your tickets, coupons and lot more.
