Profiling: What is taking so long?

Profiling with FMEFME has a great profiling capability that shows you how much time spent in underlying factories of FME.

To turn it on do the following:

Select “Tools | Edit Header”As the first line in file specify the following directive:

FME_PROFILE_RESULT_CSV <file path>

Now when the workspace is run you will get a file like shown on next slide that shows you where all the time was spent!
