Family

The family is perhaps the most remarkable of all man’s social institutions. No other social institution is older, and none is more universal than the family. In all times and all places it has been found that certain societal perspective can most effectively be met through the institutionalization of family.

Importance of youth

Youth constitute a major portion of the population of Pakistan. Over 110 million of the 180-odd million Pakistanis today are under the age of 29 of whom over 50 million are classified as youth between ages 15-29.

• “A difference in values and attitudes between one generation and another, especially between young people and their parents”.(English Language Dictionary)

• ‘’Generation gap is certain psychological and emotional gap, social and cultural between parents or elder people and the younger ones which cause lack in communication between those generations and also different cultures within the society.’’

• “Mr. NOMAN SAID”: Social media, but mostly FACEBOOK IS one of the major causes of depression/anxiety among youth. Mental illness is on the rise, obviously.

• “Miss NADIA NARRATED”: Smartphone's, tablets, and computers are ruining our generation. Because they're separating actual human relationships and they create a huge generation gap.

• “Mr. HASNAIN SAID US”: We cannot blame technology for our problems. We can only blame the misuse of technology. Similar to how we can use a knife to cut the strings that hold a man down, or use it to take the life of the man who is tied down. It just depends on the use of these things.

• “Mr. NAJEEB UR REHMAN SAID”:that our youth are very much effected by the bollwood love movies and dramas. And also tell a love story of him.

Learning aggressive attitudes and behaviors. Generation Gap. Reality vs. Fantasy. Sense of hopelessness and disappointment. Lower academic achievements in university. Shorter attention spans. Exposure to unwanted contents. Creates a sense of anarchy and mental disturbance among

young generation of Pakistan.

Dr. Zafar khan, sociologist, Peshawar university Reported that

‘’excessive exposure to media, social media is one of the reason that increasing constant divorce ration in our society, Most girls and boys are duped in by false promises, after getting married they find their expectation false, they get divorced , he added there is a lack of counseling selecting a perfect spouse ‘’.

False relationships and Suicide • Teacher at Beacon-house, Shahid shah, reported us the

alarming situation of connectivity.

• ‘’ A Dreadful incident happed, a young boy in nowshera, playfully and just for fun tried to harass a girl on social media by posting here some private photos which were later spread and given a disrespectful comments on seen that her kit and kin got so much infuriated of her use of social media which created stressful environment in her house some defended her. For not having been guilty but over all it became issue of sense of honor and she committed suicide.’’

Parents do not aware about the modern world. Parents do not treat their kids as their age. Accusing each other at every topic. Unnecessary worry of the parents about their kids. Difference between their ideas. Expectations of the parents to their children.
