Open independent Smart City infrastructure

• The Open Smart Grid Platform is an open, generic, scalable and independent ‘Internet of Things’

platform which enables various public service objects to be easily controlled and monitored with any

application and with any communication infrastructure.

• Examples of services based on this platform:

– Flexible Switching of Public Lighting (large scale roll-out in 150 municipalities in NL)

– Smart Meter Reading

– Energy Demand and Supply management

• Our Open source approach and the use of open standards stimulates suppliers and other third parties

to develop innovative solutions based on this platform for the market.

• Services of Smart Society Services are based on the Open Smart Grid Platform and are delivered as

‘Software As A Services (SAAS)’.

• The Open Smart Grid Platform can enable an open independent smart city infrastructure.

The past three years we developed an independent, open source, IoT-platform to

monitor and control smart objects within a smart city infrastructure.

Ambition

• Last few months we made the source code of the Open Smart Grid Platform available on GitHub and

created the foundation for corporation in an open source community. See www.osg-platform.com

• Our ambition is to increase the open source community and develop and implement all kinds of

smart services based on this approach.

• We are currently developing smart metering services, based on open source and open standards.

• We’re looking for partners, standardization institutes, cities, etcetera to join this development.

• So, you are invited to JOIN this community!
