• In 1792 a project of the French engineer Claude Chappe was aproved to build the first system of optical telegraphy. This system required the construction of towers for specific use.

• The importance that the telegraph had, was that the transmission of information was much faster and you could get all kinds of information and details you could communicate with people who were far without moving.
