ThE water hyacInth Is as InvasIve aquatIc pest. That severely infested philippine waters with its proliferation. It hastened the occurrence of floODS – making it a pest FOR lakeside and riverSIDE areas.
But several communities in the philippines have already found useful ways to utilize the plant. They have shown that there is hope in what was seemingly a nuisance.
We ourselves are witnesses to THIS STORY.
In 2009, we launched
(meaning “hyacinth and lily”)in order to showcase the unique innovation OF
water hyacinth leather.
Through our high-end line, elegance was placed in the unwanted
and the pest was transformed into something desired.
