How Do You Create a Fan Page for Your Business?

You Must Have a Personal Profile Page to Create a Fan Page.

Every Fan Page Needs at Least 1 Person to be a Page Administrator.

You Can Invite Others to Become Administrators of the Fan Page, too.

Fan Pages Don’t Have the Ability to Email Individuals and Individuals Can’t Email a

Fan Page.

Fans Can Post on the Fan Page Wall or Join Discussions, Depending on Your Privacy

Settings.

To Create a New Fan Page, Simply Select the ‘Ads and Pages’ Menu Below Your Profile Picture from Your Home Page.

Click the ‘+Create Page’ button on the

‘Ads and Pages’ screen.

This screen is your control panel for all

the pages you admin.

To Create a New Fan Page, Simply Select the ‘Ads and Pages’ Menu Below Your Profile Picture from Your Home Page.

1. Select the ‘Local

Business’ option & the

category from the drop down menu.

2. Name your Fan Page.

NOTE: You CANNOT

change the Name or Category

once created!

3. Check the box to confirm you’re an official

representative of the business.

4. Click ‘Create Official Page’ once you’ve

checked everything for typos!

Select ‘Official Page’ for a Local Business, Follow the Steps Below, and then Populate the Page with Photos and Information to Share.

Pages are searchable outside of Facebook

Viral nature of news stream is what makes it so powerful

When a user “Likes” your page, your name and logo will appear on their profile page and your name will appear in their profile feed.
