DESCRIPTION
Nikuv's sophisticated national identity e-ID card system is a comprehensive solution that facilitates the efficient registration and identification of citizens and which can be used for a variety of personal and commercial purposes, including electronic signatures and authorization. Information contained within the public/private key infrastructure of the e-ID card includes specific, personal details relevant to the user and reports on the validity of the ID card and the various uses for which it has been validated. At Nikuv, ensuring the security and privacy of the personal registration information included on our electronic cards and documents is of utmost importance. Therefore, our national e-ID cards include highly-advanced security features like holographic film, optical variable ink, a 2048 bit cryptography micro-processor chip, optical memory card technology and much more. The e-ID cards have a diverse range of applications in the public and private sector, including: banking, taxation, registration, insurance, employment, education and social programs.

A Public Key Infrastructure consists of:
A Certificate Authority (CA) that issues and verifies each digital certificate.
A certificate includes the public key or information related to the public key
A registration authority (RA) that acts as the verifier and confirmation of
approval for the Certificate Authority before a digital certificate is issued to
an applicant
One or more directories where the certificates (with their public keys) are
held
