Configuring Outlook 2007 for UNDP email using Exchange server.

You can follow this instruction to setup Outlook in your home computer

Click on “Control Panel”

1. In the Control Panel window make sure you have “Classic View” selected2. Click on the “Mail” icon.

Select “Show Profiles” button.

1. Select “Prompt for a profile to be used”2. Click “Add” button.

Give a Profile Name

1. Type your name and E-mail address2. Check “Manually Configure server… ”3. Click “Next” Button

Select “Microsoft Exchange”

1. In Microsoft Exchange Server box type: 005. 1 .EXDRESMBUND EQ UND LOCAL

2. Make sure you check “Use Cached Exchange Mode”3. Click on “More Settings”

1. After few seconds, you may get the above message.2. Click “OK” and you will get the box below. Click “OK” in the box.

Now you should see the box below.

1. Click on “Advanced” tab2. Make sure “Use Cached Exchange..” is checked

1. Select “Security” tab.2. Select “Password Authentication (NTLM)” for Logon Network Security

1. Select “Connection” tab.2. Check “Connect to Microsoft Exchange .. “3. Click on “Exchange Proxy Settings..”

Configure screen like aboveClick “OK”

After you return to this screen, make sure you click on the button “Apply” and then click “OK”.

After you return to this screen, click on “Check Name” button.

After you hit “Check Name” button, this login box should pop up. Make sure you enter your email(Outlook) password. After the password is authenticated you will go back to the previous screen.

If your username and password is authenticated by Exchange server you should see your User Name underlined. If the user name is not underlined then that means your Outlook did not connect to UNDP exchange server.

Make sure “Prompt for a profile to be used is checked”Click “Apply”Click “OK”

Now when you open Outlook by clicking on the “Outlook” icon you will see this “Choose Profile” box.Select the profile name that you gave to configure UNDP email.

After you select your profile, click “OK”It may take few minutes to open your Outlook

You will see this box when you open Outlook configured for UNDP email for the first use.
