Employment is expected to grow by 18% from 2006 to 2016 Faster than the average for all occupations.
Median salary $47,350 (May 2006)
What is the journalism job outlook?
Competitive and will grow slightly by 2016 Small and online publications should provide
the best opportunities. Specialized writers will have an advantage.
In 07, 78% had at least one job offer and earned a median of $30K
