Application of IT in Engineering.• Today’s world is connected by large

hidden but highly complex information network.

IT is used to Design, testing, development, simulations, planning and automating the system.

Application of IT in mechanical Engineering

• Design, analysis, control material, manufacturing method and learn to solve complex problem.

Application of IT in civil Engineering

• The application of planning, designing, constructing, maintaining, calculations, including structural design, geometry calculations, and applications for project management.

•  Remote sensing the study of phenomenon sensed from air or satellites.The use of remote sensing provides engineers with an opportunity to interpret data as seen from space.This facility is particularly useful in surveying very large areas at relatively little cost

. Choosing the wrong tool can be

expensive and time consuming, invest enough time in researching all the tools available, and analyzing their advantages and disadvantages, and their suitability for your needs.  The best way to do this is to actually install and test the software tools yourself.  

• Before deploying a tool to the entire company, it’s a good idea to test it on a small scale, with a real project, and make any adjustments necessary to the configuration and documentation.

Application of IT in electronic Engineering• A  broad scientific and profound

knowledge of electronic circuits and systems knowledge of telecommunications and computer-controlled systems.

• Advantage of the speed of computer analysis, the engineer can explore a greater number of design options in a short period of time.It allows an engineer to make immediate comparisons and see the impact of each.

Application of IT in chemical Engineering• Advancements in computer

science found applications designing and managing plants, simplifying calculations and drawings,that previously had to be done manually. 

• Engineering work processes is an emerging and challenging area of research and development.

• Supporting the activities during the life cycle of a chemical process by means of information technology. Emphasis will be largely on the process and plant design process

Modeling, numerical analysis and simulation • Informatics and intelligent systems • Process and product synthesis/design • Process control and monitoring• Events management and process safety• Plant operations, integration, planning/scheduling and supply chain.

Global chemical industry by focusing on advancements of information technology and business management skills.

• IT can provide easy access to various statistics, drawing & various other data concerning the project.Self check toolscan identify the problems in various systems like fire fighting, air conditioning & can automatically inform concerned service provider.

• IT can also help in prompt reporting of problem.

CONCLUSION• Finally , IT can be used by engineers

for various design, testing, maintain, simulation and executing the given problem with low investment and the
