Overall evaluations from peers
I have used a handful of friends from facebook to evaluate my media work and to give their honest opinions on
different aspects of the magazine, including font, text,
images, layout and colour scheme.
These evaluation points are written primarily as overall positives and
negatives, instead of as evaluations on each individual page.
Since I have had the largest (only) response from females, all of which
are positive, it proves that my market research results were valid as it shows that the magazine is more popular for
a female audience. The comments from Libby and Jade say that my magazine is able to be suited for either gender due to the appearance of the project, but this point is not proven in terms of my
received responses, as both genders are not represented.
individual evaluations from peers
To use different forms of technology, I have also used my iPhone to gain some
evaluations of my work.
These evaluations are more detailed as they go into depth on good and bad points on each page I have created,
instead of being an overall view and set of opinions.
Similar to the other evaluations, these involve themes such as photography,
layout, colour scheme, text and font, as well as specific areas which I have included (such as my reference to
Reading and Leeds festival). As well as this, it also states their opinion on which
target audience would be most interested in my product and then goes into an explanation as to why they think this.

4: Who would be the audience for your media product?
Before my received evaluation points, I would of personally said that my magazine was primary aimed towards both genders of the teenage – early twenties population due to the colours
being used being similar to those of both NME (which is aimed towards both genders and a younger population) and Q (which is aimed at both genders and an older population).
After receiving my evaluation points from a range of people on both facebook and my iPhone, I have changed my original idea to an audience more female based and for the teenage
population. This is because, despite including a range of people (both age and gender) in my closed facebook group, I have only received feedback from females, which must mean that
they have taken more of an interest in it.

What age are you?
My original market research proved that the audience would be mainly found within these specific categories due to the largest number of people being found within the age group 15-19
and female group.
