(Former IBM Employees) Here AG means in German term Aktiengesellschaft meant for a

corporation which is limited by shares, i.e., owned by shareholders. Before 1977, it stands for Systems Analysis & Program Development SAP idea was to provide customers with the ability to interact with a

common corporate database for a comprehensive range of

application.
