Vehicle Wrap Sponsorship

The 911 Cell Phone Bank is seeking Vehicle Wrap Sponsors for its Central Florida pick up and delivery vehicle (2004 Scion xb). The vehicle will travel 150-500 miles/week throughout Central Florida and will be seen at many events. The wrap will feature five sponsor logo positions:

1. Right front fender above wheel well (12”x8”).

2. Left front fender above wheel well (12”x8”).

3. Right rear window (18”x12”).

4. Left rear window (18”x12”).

5. Rear window. (12”x8”)

$500 – A 12”x8” full color logo will be placed on the right or left front fender above wheel well The logo may include a phone number or website address.

$750 – An 18”x12” full color logo will be placed on the right or left rear window. The logo may include a tagline and a phone number or website address.

$750 - A 12”x8” full color logo will be placed on the rear window. The logo may include a phone number or website address.

Other items included in your sponsorship:

• Six month placement in the sponsor section in our Central Florida email newsletter. Currently delivered twice each month to more than 650 companies and agencies in Central Florida who collect cell phones for the 911 Cell Phone Bank (see attached sample list).

• Link on the Partner Page of our (www.911CellPhoneBank.org).

• Certificate of Recognition.

The sponsorship will last for a period of 12 months unless otherwise stated above.

Goods or services of equal or greater value may be accepted in lieu of cash payment.

Final design will be at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of the Charitable Recycling Foundation, Inc.

The 911 Cell Phone Bank is an initiative of the Charitable Recycling Foundation. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 Public Charity.

Founded in 2004, the 911 Cell Phone Bank provides an ongoing and readily available source of emergency cell phones and funds to participating law enforcement and affiliated victims services agencies.

The 911 Cell Phone Bank has provided over $950,000 and 80,000 emergency cell phones to partners and program participants.

The 911 Cell Phone Bank has the support of over 1000 law enforcement and victims services agencies, and has been endorsed by several non-profit organizations and State agencies across the country.

The 911 Cell Phone Bank has formed many alliances and partnerships with leading organizations that benefit the overall operation of the emergency cell phone program.

Connecting Communities

The mission of the 911 Cell Phone Bank is to provide no cost emergency wireless communication to vulnerable residents

in communities nationwide.

The 911 Cell Phone Bank* provides free inactive cell phones capable of dialing 911 only, to law enforcement and victim services agencies . These agencies distribute them to senior citizens and victims of abuse in their community. As all cell phones are required to dial 911, whether or not activated, we presently provide older non-marketable units for this application.

The cell phones provided come from corporate and community donations. Some donated cell phones are re-marketed to cover the cost of program operation and to provide funds to participating agencies.

• National Sheriffs’ Association - The 911 Cell Phone Bank provides funds for the continuing operation of the National Association of Triads, an NSA subsidiary organization.

• National Association of Triads – The 911 Cell Phone Bank provides funding for the continuing operation of the National Association of Triads (NATI). The sole purpose of Triad is to promote senior safety and to reduce the fear of crime that seniors citizens often experience.

• Other Law Enforcement Agencies - The 911 Cell Phone Bank has partnered with hundreds of local law enforcement agencies nationwide. • Abuser Arrested As Result of 911 Phone CallShelley Gordon, Shelter Manager at Help Now, Inc., in Kissimmee, FL, stated that a victim from the Shelter was given a free emergency cell phone to use. On her way to the store, the victim noticed she was being followed by her abuser. She was able to use the phone to call 911, and the police quickly came to her rescue. Her attacker was then arrested for Violation of Injunction and taken to jail.

Emergency Cell Phone Saved Her LifeJacqueline Green, Director/Victim Advocate for E. Cleveland Domestic Violence Center in Ohio, contributed this: “There was a victim who came in to get help, and we gave her one of our emergency cell phones because her abuser had taken her phone (very common with abusers). She was in fear of him, and she had to leave the house. The phone made her feel a little safer,” added Green. “A few days later she was on her way to work, and he tried to run her off the road; she used her emergency phone to tell the police where she was. They found her and apprehended him. Because he had a prior Domestic Violence charge, he was sent away for several years.”
