OfficeMaster SBA deployment

• Preparation steps in Datacenter– Create Computer Account; domain join should be delegated to

„RTCUniversalSBATechnicians“ group– Add service principal name via ADSI-Edit– Create Domain account for SBA Technician, add to

„RTCUniversalSBATechnicians“ group– Optional: Grant rights for WebServices Template in CA– Create Branch Office and Survivable Branch Appliance (including

Gateway) using Topology Builder– Publish Topology (this adds SBA Computer Account to some predefined

groups)

• Deployment in Branch Office– Guided by Web UI; no Console connection needed (= Appliance)– Local technician can handle that; no real administrator necessary

EMG Audio Quality Requirements

• New Requirements – everything is tested!– Latency must be kept very low in both directions– Line Echo Canceller (128ms tail)– AGC (automatic gain control) with VAD (voice activity detection)

• not mandatory anymore

– Silence suppression and comfort noise generation– IP Packet delay variation handling– Packet loss and concealment– Overall speech quality tested using PESQ

Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality

• Big investment in test equipment– Two Sage 960B units needed
