Retail and retailing is at the cusp of change driven by a raft of new technologies that will blend on and off line markets, real and virtual experiences.Mobility and social networks are two clear examples of very recent change. We have also seen improved databases and search engines as well as cameras and barcode readers, but are now poised to increase its power with readers of "near field" (RFID). Even more extreme is the imminent deployment design, printing, manufacturing and distribution of 3D printers. So the main question is, how do change and adapt yourself and your organization to harness the potential of new businesses being offered?
