We often take the work that IT Pros do for our companies for granted. In my time meeting with IT professionals in a variety of roles there are a few common Superhero tasks that they do that largely go unnoticed. Imagine being asked to do your job with limited budget, resources, and time. Yet time and again they pull it off and keep companies moving forward. I have met teams that have to take lunch in shifts because someone must be onsite at all times, while others regularly work through weekends and vacations to keep the company in uptime. IT is often a thankless job (and sometimes the first one to get blamed when the inevitable technology problems happen) but these pros do it day after day. Give them thanks for the job they do and for all of the things they enable.
