Experience and Innovation TekSource management and staff are corporate learning professionals with extensive industry experience. Each of our senior staff have at least 10 years experience in corporate training and education and some of our staff hold advanced degrees in Adult Education. Instructor Facilitated Training, Web Based Learning Solutions, and Learning Solution Consulting TekSource Corporate Learning addresses the business objectives of our clients through three solution sets: Instructor Facilitated Training which we support in our Learning Centre and through our network of partner sites and at client sites, Web Based Learning Solutions which encompass traditional e-learning as well as newer collaborative learning technologies and Learning Solution Consulting where we provide high value learning strategy consulting and technology related organizational development initiatives.

Instructor Facilitated Training TekSource delivers IT Professional, Technology Business Skills, and Information Worker Training in our innovative training facilities and we support our training with extensive value added components and comprehensive student support that is the best in the industry.

IT Professional - IT Professional training is the core offering of TekSource Corporate Learning, and

this area of our curriculum encompasses all server products, databases, web and application development, virtualization, Networking, Security and Telephony courses including open source offerings such as GNU/Linux. Our support for vendors includes Microsoft (CPLS), Cisco, VMware, Adobe, Juniper, redhat, and others.

Technology Business Skills - TekSource complements our core

IT professional training with focussed business skills training that is designed to support the business processes related to technology initiatives and deployments. This area of our curriculum includes IT project management, Business Analyst Courses, and IT infrastructure Library (ITIL) courses.

Information Worker - This area of our curriculum is focussed on the end-users of technology

and includes courses on commonly used applications such as the Microsoft Office suite of products, Graphic Design and Media software packages, Project Management Software and other applications commonly deployed on the enterprise desktop. Value and Support are two key differentiators of the instructor facilitated training offerings from TekSource. In the case of our On-Demand Mentored Training offerings, student support extends for 6 months from the beginning of the course and includes value add components such as access to related e-learning titles, ongoing access to our facilities and instructors, support from online mentors, access to our exclusive discussion forums, and the ability to re-take a course for any reason.

participants regarding the courses application in the customer’s workplace and to ensure that training meets the

Desk-side Support and One-on-one Training

Desk-side support

If your organization is planning a shift in technology that will affect a large segment of your employee base,

TekSource can provide critical support as new technology is deployed to users’ desktops. Typically desk-side

support is employed in conjunction with other training efforts when introducing new Desktop Productivity tools,

TekSource can provide Certified Trainers to act as roving Coaches and Mentors, ensuring that user productivity is

In cases where an individual employee requires specialized focused training, One-on-one training allows

Advanced VMware Security A critical and often overlooked aspect of migrating to a virtualized environment is security and setting up security properly. Like physical machines, virtualization technologies are not secure “out of the box” and VMware is no exception. The Advanced Virtualization Security course focuses on “where the vulnerabilities lie” and how to reduce the attack surfaces in the virtualized environment. Technology Business Skills Curriculum

TekSource in Partnership with Ahead Technology, now offers Accredited ITIL Online training and instructor led training – ranging from introductory (foundations level) to intermediate and advanced titles. This solution offers one of the most effective ways to

deliver ITIL training to a geographically dispersed department in a timely manner.

This Solution, designed to eliminate the travel expense and course scheduling challenges normally faced by organizations attempting to provide a high level of ITIL training to their staff is exclusive to TekSource in Canada.

ITIL online classes use a series of accredited video lectures combined with online student courseware and classroom or remote mentors to recreate the actual classroom experience. All programs can be delivered in a group (public or onsite) or individual (desktop or mobile) classroom environment.

Upon completion of each training segment, students who have purchased the optional exam vouchers can go online to register with our exam agent who in turn will collect all the necessary documentation to set them up with a location and proctor to administer the exams.

Business Analyst Training

According to the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA™), Business Analysts are

Video Trainer and Learning Zone features high quality video instruction, demonstrations, and

lab exercises on core Microsoft Technologies as well as introductory Cisco topics and an extensive library of Network Security titles. All Video Trainer titles can be supported by online 24/7 course content mentoring.

ITIL online content from ITSM Exclusively available from TekSource in Canada and produced in

partnership with Video Trainer, the content features high quality video and presentations from some of ITSM’s leading instructors and course authors. Toronto Head Office We have modern professional training facilities fully equipped with seating for up to 35 participants. TekSource Corporate Learning maintains very current computer configurations including 64bit machines. Displays are minimum 22” LCD monitors and we provide wireless internet access throughout our facility. Each room is brightly lit and floor to ceiling windows provide lots of natural light.

Major Centres across Canada TekSource has built a network of partner locations across Canada to provide national coverage to meet the needs of clients with a national presence.
