INTRODUCTION

The transmission of power from one place to another without using wires, cables or chords.

Due to increasing number electronic devices in our daily life such as laptops, digital cameras, household robots, etc.

All these devices are powered by batteries, which need to be recharged very often.

So what if we could enable wireless powering of these and similar devices?

History of Wireless Power:

In 1899, Sir Nikola Tesla

Proposed a method of Wireless

Power Transmission. As it was a

Radiative mode, most of the

Power was wasted and has less

efficiency.

The efficient midrange

power transfer concept is

Witricity. In this model

source and load are in

Magnetic resonance so

there is no power loss.

One Simple Physics Rule !

At Source : Electricity → Magnetic Wave

At Device : Magnetic Wave → Electricity
