Some people headed straight for the high street to do some serious shopping.

There was also the option of ice skating at Heumarkt. But there was a lot of water on the ice (perhaps it was too warm?) and it could have been a very uncomfortable afternoon for anyone adventurous enough. Not me!

…or a peaceful walk next to the Rhine.

There was some tradional German folk music on display…

…including from the Alps, it seems.

In the end, there were some tired delegates waiting for the bus.
