C- In the kitchen at the Lake Tahoe Cabin!

The bears were certainly talented, but they weren't in the mood for fish. They walked up the stairs, opened the slider door, meandered into the kitchen, passed the trash, opened the refrigerator, daintily devoured a package of hot dogs, took half a watermelon outside for later, and nearly scared Mom Neb into screaming. The rest of us were just annoyed that someone was making noise in the kitchen at 6 am. Don't the bears know we're on vacation??

(B) Of course! I was super happy to land my old gig

working summer school for Monterey County Office of Education. The work was easy, although they moved offices in the middle, leaving us stranded without computers or phones. The location was spectacular.

a lost college student My friends Mihwa, Jonathan and I are strange ourselves.

Fortunately, lots of people talked to us. We kind of adopted the college kid.

When Mihwa wanted to clarify the English terms, we skipped, galloped, cavorted, hopped, plodded, and meandered all over the trail.

Anything for a photo. Mihwa is now a quick change artist.

It's often overcast and always time for a beautiful pic.

My brother Mark and his

family just moved to Elko because he got a good job as a pharmacist for Smith’s. Feel free to stop by if you are driving through- it’s the only Smith’s for 100 miles in any direction!

My cousin Colette was such a sweetheart to take a roadtrip in grandma's old car with me to visit my fam. Good times, if not good scenery.

Which of the following electrical devices did NOT conk out this

summer?A) Cell phone

B) Lap top computer

• Thank goodness D is the correct answer. Although the summer hasn’t been unusually hot (only 7 days over 100), it would be unpleasant without my friends: A/C and Pool.

• The technology thing isn’t all bad. I finally moved into the Android realm with my new phone ( !!!) and the itty-bitty netbook has saved my bacon until I replace his big brother.

• I did lose a lot of pictures, :( so thanks to all those who let me borrow a few for this blog.
