This time visit the Ranikhet hill station, which is a cantonment in

Almora district in Uttarkhand state. You can visit here round the

year, March to October is the perfect time to visit and from

December to February you will enjoy the snowfall. The nearest

airport is Dehradun airport and it is connected with the major cities

of the country. If you are going by train, then you have to hire a taxi

from Khatgodam which is the nearest railway station. The buses are

easily available to Ranikhet from the major cities.

Victorian buildings against the backdrop of oak, pine, and deodar.

known for its exquisite orchards of apples, plums, peaches, and

apricots. This is located at 10 kilometres distance from the main city.

There is an ancient temple, “Jhula Devi” situated at the distance of 7 kilometres, which was constructed before 800 years. In the evening

visit to “Bhalu Dam” at the distance of 3 kilometres. It is an artificial lake built around 200 years ago, but tranquil views of the lake with

overlooking Himalayan peaks, chirping birds and fresh mountain air, don’t let you go after a visit. It is so calm and peaceful place there

you and the nature spend time together with hand – in – hand.How can forget to enjoy playing the golf, no matter if you are not a golf

player, you can just go for hangout. “Upat” is a small town nestled in the lap of Garhwal Himalayas, at a distance of 5 kilometres. It has

the 9 holes which are maintained by the Indian Army and it is famous for these holes. This Golf Course is considered as the highest peak

in Asia.

The “Katarmal” has the second Sun temple after Orissa; it was built 800 years ago. It is adorned with the stunning carving.

Next morning you have to wake up early to catch the sunrise, because you to drive for 30 kilometres to “Sitalakhet”, which gives you

a mesmerizing snow – capped beauty of mountains in varied hues of the words. You can’t find words to describe it. You will like the

place from far from the commercialization, full of joy.

“Majkhali” is a small, charming village located at a distance of 13 kilometres and offers most scenic enchanting vistas of the Mount Trishul
