A good fishing rod and reelYou can get a fishing rod and reel together in acombination or kit or you can purchase these itemsseparately. Also, when you have reeled in your fish,you will need to get the fish off of the hook. As you are holdingthe fish or keeping it still, you can use the tool to remove thehook from the fish. Appropriate clothingYou have many clothing options available to wear while fishing.If you are going to be fishing on a stream or river, considergetting some waders. These are long, waterproof overalls usedto keep your clothes dry and to protect you from the coldwater. If you are fishing from a boat or bank, wear somethingcomfortable for the elements and surroundings.
