I initially did a mosaic in a blue colour scheme, but felt that it had not worked out. I then did another page and pasted over the unsuccessful mosaic as well as pasting small pieces over the whole combination. This overall effect was interesting and allowed me to move towards my final page.

FINAL

EASTERN DINNER WEAR

2009- 2010

SKETCH

I made sketches to design a blue chiffon with white embroidery.

Keeping the summers in mind, I chose the soft sky blue colour. I made an ‘A’ line shirt, with two panels, alternating heavy and light embroidery. There are no slits on the sides.

SKETCH

I made a sketch to design a aqua blue printed chiffon, with brown silk pants.

This sky blue outfit with brown print , is again an outfit for the summers. I added tiny frills around the neck as a finishing effect.

SKETCH

I made sketches to design the baby pink cotton, with white cotton pants and white crotiat lace.

I made an ‘A’ line shirt, with pleats on the front and at the back. The bell bottoms and the shirt have the same lace at the bottom.

RELAXATION

CONTROL TEST

MARCH-APRIL 2009DESCRIPTION- WE WERE GIVEN SEVERAL TOPICS A MONTH BEFORE OUR EXAM, THE TOPIC I CHOOSE WAS RELAXATION AND I CAPTURED DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF MY AND I RELAXING TOGETHER.

We had a month to prepare 4 prep sheets, and were given 15 hours to prepare our final in the examination hall.

PREP SHEET 1-

After a long day, many of us turn to our friends when its time to relax. That level of comfort and relaxation can only be achieved with a close friend. And thus I tried to capture the different activities my friend and I do to relax. I used various media such as watercolour, ink, tea staining and masking fluid.
