  73%ofpeopleciterelationshipswithcolleaguesasbeingthekeyfactorinhappinessatwork.

  Lackofcommunicationfromthetopwasseenasoneofthebiggestcausesofunhappiness.

  Thosewhohavebeeninthesameroleforeightyearsormore(75%)aretheleasthappy,whilethosewhohavebeenintheircurrentjobforlessthanayeararemuchhappier(83%).

  Organizationswithover1000staffconsiderthemselveshappy(78%).   82%womenemployeesclaimtobehappywiththeirjobscomparedto

theirmalecounterparts(78%).   At85%,thoseaged55+arethehappiestemployees,possiblybecause

theyreachedthepinnacleoftheircareer.Thenexthappiestagegroupistheunder25sat80%,whoareexcitedtobuildtheircareer.Theleasthappyareemployeesintheir40s(77%)whofacetheprospectofworkingforatleast20moreyears.

  85%ofseniormanagers&thoseatboardlevelarehappy,makingthemthehappiestemployeegroup.Servicestaffandthoseworkinginsalesarethenexthappiest(83%).
