MR50 MONOVENT

MR50 Monovent provides unobtrusive ventilation to top edge abutments of lean-to roofs.

The innovative design ensures a continuous ventilation gap of5000mm2/m. MR50 Monovent is recommended be used inconjunction with Glidevale eaves ventilation systems to ensurethrough ventilation of the roof space from low to high level. Whenused with Type LR underlays such as Protect VP400 Plus LR it canalso be used on its own to provide the ventilation requirement.

The Glidevale AV50 AbVent provides unobtrusive high-level

ventilation and can be used in conjunction with traditional ‘lead roll’ details on plain tile and slate roofs. It is also particularly useful in top edge abutmentsituations where MR50 Monovent cannot beinstalled because of limited vertical clearance.

Composition, ManufactureThe unit comprises two PVC-Uextruded sections supplied in 1.22mlengths complete with spacers,screws, washers and clips. AluFlashapron flashing for dressing over thetiles is supplied. A lead or AluFlash cover flashing (notsupplied) must be installed with MR50Monovent (as shown below), inaccordance with the recommendationsof the Lead Sheet Association orAluFlash. Horizontal cavity trays with short leador AluFlash cover flashing provide acomplete solution in new buildconstruction. MR50 Monovent can also be suppliedwith code 4 lead flashing to order.

Composition, ManufactureManufactured from ABS. All exposed surfaces are treated witha uv-resistant polymeric resin.AluFlash apron flashing for dressingover the tiles is supplied. A lead or AluFlash cover flashing (notsupplied) must be installed with AV50AbVent (as shown).
