The CD123 antigen, also known as Interleukin-3 Receptor a (IL-3Ra) belongs to thecytokine receptor family. It is expressed on dendritic cells, monocytes, eosinophils andbasophils.TheCD123antigenisalsoconstitutivelyexpressedbycommittedhematopoieticstem/progenitorcells,especiallyofthemyeloidlineage(CD13+,CD14+,CD33+,CD15low),andbysomeCD19+cells,itisabsentfromCD3+cells.
