In 1943 Parks became an important part of the civil rights movement.

Parks was elected special secretary to president Gear Nixon.

Known for the Montgomery Bus Boycott.

Was born an African American minister and civil rights leader.

Known for the I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH.

DR MARTIN LUTHER KING JR

With the help of 20,000 plus voters the city first black policeman were hired and persuade John Dobbs. It was an very small win for the black policeman as they were not allowed to carry guns and only assign to black parts of the city.

The reason for the civil rights movement began in the mid 1950s. Many whites hated blacks and keep a grudge against them which led to the killing of blacks.
