off.

Roofing Nail

• Used for nailing rolled roofing and shingles• Commonly found with plastic ring under head

and referred to as a “button cap”• Nail used for metal roofing has a rubber ring

• Used for tongue and groove flooring• When hardened is used in masonry• Farriers also use these when attaching

horseshoes

• Used in trim, cabinets, and furniture in the house
