Prepare Area for Motif Placement• Area should be clean and free of lint•Iftoteisheavyfabricandtaut,noembroideryhoopisneededbut,ifjustsoftfabric,anembroideryhoopcanbeused
Begin Felting Motif • Select roving colors and placement•Takeasmallportionofroving(colorscanbeblendedtogether)androllbetweenpalmstomakeasmallball•PlacetheNeedleFeltingMatundertheareayouareworking•Thebrush-likematenablessmoothpunchingwithlittleresistanceandprevents punching too hard and break/bend needles•Thematallowsthefibersoftherovingtobecomewellmeshedintothetote fabric•OntherightsideplacetherovingovertheareayouwanttofeltandusetheNeedleFeltingToolstocatchthewoolrovingfibersandpushthemintothebottomofthefabric• Add more small pieces as needed to get desired uniform thickness and shape•Punchseveraltimesuntilthewoolrovingfibersstaypermanentlywithoutusingglue.Thetoolcomeswithaclearlockcoverforsafetyandstorage•ThePenStyleNeedleFeltingToolcanbeusedtopunchrovingintosmallareasandtomoreclearlydefineanarea(I,2,or3needlesandbeselected)Also,usetheclearcoverprovidedforsafetywhenusing
