E-Mobility, light weight design for increased driving range

For battery electric vehicles (BEV), the weight of the batteries with the capacity to run a certain distance is 20 to 30 times the weight of diesel fuel needed to run the same distance.

In this case, light weight design has the potential to increase driving range significantly.
