JCW Energy Services has over 20 years experience in providing a national maintenance and installation facility for a wide range of clients.

We have six offices throughout the UK who support our network of mobile engineers through our 24/7 manned helpdesk who pride themselves on building strong customer relationships offering a nationwide service with a local presence.

Our skilled mobile workforce is trained to carry out servicing and maintenance on all types of plant and is fully supported by technical supervision and management. All JCW personnel attend regular training courses to keep them up to date with changing technology and current compliance legislation.

air conditioning typesFloor Standing or Wall Mounted Split Systems

This system is suitable for homes or small commercial premises such as solicitors, dentists, or small shops where a single room is to be air conditioned. It consists of an indoor unit which does the cooling and heating and is connected to a discrete outdoor unit which either rejects unwanted heat or in the case of a heat pump collects heat from the outdoor air.

There are several types of indoor units to choose from. For example, there are floor standing models, or wall-mounted units that occupy no floor space, and even discrete units that can be concealed behind ceiling panels. We can help you choose the best solution that meets your requirements and lay out of the room.

Ceiling Cassette Split System

This type of system may have two or more indoor units connected to the outdoor unit.

It is more flexible and suitable for larger home installations, where more than one room is to be air conditioned, perhaps a bedroom, dining room and living area and also for commercial premises such as restaurants, doctors’ surgeries and medium-size shops and offices.

The requirement of each room could differ; therefore you can select the most appropriate style of indoor unit for each room in the same premises.

Multi Split or VRV/VRF Systems

These systems are ideal for larger premises, such as office suites or prestige apartments, where a number of indoor units serve separate living or working spaces.

They are connected to a bank of outdoor units or one large one, located either on the roof or in a central plant room serving the building.

Again, the requirement of each room could differ and the most appropriate size and style of each indoor unit can be chosen to suit each room.

Large Industrial Cooling

We offer professional cooling solutions for large industrial units such as data centres, server rooms, production, manufacturing and warehouses.

Energy Performance Certification: As accredited Energy Assessors, JCW Energy Services can provide Energy Performance Certificates and Display Energy Certificates as part of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).

R22 replacement

R22 act now

Now is the time to act and replace air conditioning systems still using R22.

New sources of R22 have already been phased out and only reclaimed R22 is currently available. Since 1st January 2015 all sources of R22 has been banned and any equipment requiring R22 gas will become redundant.

The impact of the R22 phase out will be felt by any organisation that uses this refrigerant. It is vital to replace these systems before prices rise and supply shortages mean you will no longer be able to service or maintain your R22 system.

There is a short term solution. Using a drop in refrigerant may seem like a simple answer but comes with increased risks of system failure, higher running costs and without the backing of a manufacturer’s warranty.
