A. Alat dan Bahan
1) Stopwatch
2) Alat tulis
B. Prosedur
1) Atur klien dengan posisi duduk atau berdiri.
2) Anjurkan melakukan napas secara perlahan dan dalam melalui hidung.
3) Tarik napas selama 3 detik, rasakan abdomen mengembang saat
menarik napas.
4) Tahan napas selama 3 detik.
5) Kerutkan bibir, keluarkan melalui mulut dan hembuskan napas secara
perlahan.
6) Ulangi sebanyak 4 kali pengulangan dalam 1 menit, selama 5-10
menit.
7) Deep Breathing dapat dipraktikkan dalam beberapa posisi, karena
distribusi udara dan sirkulasi pulmonal beragam sesuai dengan posisi
dada.
