Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair, perhaps you sent a funeral spray, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say, Perhaps you were not their at all, just thought of us today. Whatever you did to console
our hearts, we thank you so very much whatever the part.
The Family wishes to extend their most heart-felt appreciation for all acts of kindness shown to them during their bereavement.
May God bless each one of you. The Family

Legacy of Love
A wife, a mother, a grandma too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts,
We’ll eternally keep. Nana, We’ll Love You Forever
Your Grandchildren, Aria & Raheem
Obituary Cont’d
Minister Rosie L. Holley Brown was a loving, devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many that did all she could, when she could for her family and friends. With no questions asked, Minister Rosie would see a task that needed to be completed and she made sure it was done, with or without any help. Her heart was so big that she reached out to all who need-ed her, and no matter the time or hour she always had a listening ear and a
chest or shoulder for you to cry and lean on.
Her sense of humor would turn a frown into a smile, and whatever load you were carrying had to come off after leaving her presence. She was a TRUE “Mother & Sister & Friend” to so many women that had gone through so many things, and even in her own sickness she nursed others back to health. She had a love for people, that shined so bright and supported her family with all her might. She truly was a jewel, a diamond in the rough, a Beautiful Rose, we were blessed to have and call our own, “Rosie” you held such a sweet aroma, that rubbed off on us all. Life for us all just won’t be the same, but because you came and lived, we know just how much and
hard to love, and give God all the Praise.
She was preceded in death by her mother, the late Mrs. Katherine Davis Holley, her father, the late Mr. James Ed Holley, her brothers, the late Mr. Walker Jr. Thomas (Debra), the late Mr. Jerome Thomas (Claudette), and her two close nephews, the late Mr. Marcus D. Davis and the late Mr. Andre L. Davis.
Minister Rosie Leora Holley Brown departed this life on Tuesday, Febru-
ary 19, 2019.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Her devoted husband, Mr. Vincent Brown of Alexander City, AL; two loving sons, Mr. Avery Brown (Marie) and Mr. Shanon Brown (Veronica) both of Alexander City, AL; one special brother, Apostle Wayne (Minister Brenda) Davis of Kellyton, AL; She also leaves her legacy that will continue through her two grand-children, Aria and Raheem Brown of Alexander City, AL. One Mother-In-Law, Mrs. Easter B. Brown. Brothers-in-law: Rev. William Bernard (Ellen) Brown, Rev. Kelvin (Tracy) Brown, Christopher Todd Brown. Sisters-in-law: Sybil A. Brown, Christy M. Brown, Patrice Deavers (Demetrius) and Tanya (Author) Williams. Three Aunts, Two Uncles, Five Great-Aunts, and a host
of close and loved nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Tribute
Thank you Mom, For always being there to share
In our laughter and to comfort us in our tears: for providing us with
the warmth, security, love, and understanding that only a mother could provide. Mother you were a strong lady, with kind eyes, you
have prayed and given love to many people, much of our strength comes
from, the knowledge and respect you have poured into our lives, you have built as bridge of faith between your life and ours, you have taught
us to face a real world remembering to be strong and yet gentle, your service to life is a great example
and we are proud you are our Mother. It is just that at times it seems hard to find the words to say thank you.
Not only for being the wonderful Mother that you’ve always been. And will be forever remembered in our hearts;
but also to say thank you for being our best friend, and for just being you, and along with these thanks comes these very simple-yet so important words
for you to always remember…
We Love You So Much,
Your Sons, Avery & Shanon
For My Wife
Thank you for your endless love that will help me through each day
And thank you for the memories that will never fade away
You’re the woman I loved and I was proud to be your husband
And every day- in some small way, I will celebrate your life. As long as memories last You will stay in my heart.
Your loving husband, Vincent
