<AEC and <BEC are NOT adjacent angles. They overlap.
Angle Bisector– a line, ray, or segment that cuts an angle in half. The bisector creates two congruent angles.
Segment Bisector– a line, ray, or segment that intersects the segment at it’s midpoint and cuts it in half. The bisector creates two congruent segments.
Perpendicular Bisector– a line, ray, or segment that intersects the segment at it’s midpoint and cuts it in half – at a right angle.
