READING COMPREHENSION AND VOCABULARY IN CONTEXT

Hi there!

In this class you will read and use words in context and write original sentences.

Activity 1

Read the e-mail carefully and do exercises 1 and 2. For the rest of the exercises you have to revise pages 11 and 12 in you Student´s book.

Activity 2

This time you have to do exercises 1 through 5 but always revising page 12 (Student´s book) to make sure you understand everything. Don´t forget to consult a dictionary in case you find a word you don´t know. ( a good online dictionary is Cambridge Learner´s Dictionary since you can check your pronunciation as well)

Activity 3

Reflect on the questions below and put all your thoughts and ideas in writing. (Don´t worry about your grammar or the way your sentences are constructed)

1. How are the texts on pages 11 and 12 (student´s book) and pages 6 and 7 related?

2. What details can you give to support your answer?

3. Can you connect the texts with life in Chile? How? Explain.
