I simply want to be known as an image-maker.

I had always admired photographers. Most of my early career was spent working with them, but I had no ambition to ever become one. I respected the way they communicated to the world through their work. I held in high regard their creativity and craft, but I never believed I would become one myself.

I am always learning. Over the years I have refined the trademarks of my work. How I light, my framing and composition, communicating emotion, mood, or a thought in an image that provokes a reaction, but above all creating something beautiful is my purpose.

I believe that anything and everything is possible. If I believe it, then I can do it. I don’t want to limit myself or to be limited. I like to be challenged and for my work to be challenging. I still want to make the greatest and most memorable advertising imageto shoot the most recognizable portraits, photograph the most beautiful women for Italian Vogue, photograph the world’s most beautiful interiors and continue to make images of the greatest concerts.

I don’t want to be labeled as a portrait photographer, music photographer, fashion photographer, interior photographer or as an artist.

I simply want to be known as an image-maker.
