WHERE IS IT? The acueduct is in Tarragona, the old city of

Tarraco an important city for the Romans. The Acueduct of Les Ferreres is a Roman acueduct in Catalonia, built to supply water to the ancient city of Tarraco. The aqueduct is located 4 kilometers north of Tarragona, in the community of Catalonia. The acueduct was added to the UNESCO's list of World heritage Sites in 2000.

WHEN WAS IT BUILD?

The acueduct was build on the first century a.C in the Augustus emperador time. All the estructure was build in opus Quadratum a tipe of rocks.

DESCRIPTION Romans used it to transport the water

city from the mountains to the city. They are big and very long constructions. Romans did a great invention because when they began to build aqueducts they facilitated the transport of water and people could live better.
