THE LEADERS INITIATIVE (TLI)
Established in 2011, The Leaders Initiative (TLI) is a nonprofit professional association whose original
mission was to elevate humanity by identifying, developing and deploying society’s greatest leaders into
government. Since TLI’s inception, private sector leaders have worked with state government to curate a pool
of talented potential cabinet leaders and institutionalize the connection between state government leaders
and the business community.
TLI works at the intersection of the public, private and nonprofit communities to engage leaders in applying
their skills across sectors. Inspired by Dr. Geoff Smart’s book, Leadocracy, TLI was formed to execute
programs on the premise that government is only as good as who is in it.
In 2015, TLI merged with QF to scale the organization and focus more heavily on long -term talent
development within the government sector. As part of this transition, Colorado Governors Hickenlooper,
Owens and Ritter advised Quarterly Forum to strengthen program design and sharpen its non-partisan
mission and programmatic focus.
The cornerstone of the TLI program is the Colorado Governors Fellowship Program, an 8-month program that
engages business and nonprofit leaders into Colorado public policy while elevating the opportunity to make
an impact by serving in government.

HEIDI BASKFIELDE X E C U T I V E D I R E C TO R F O R A DV O C A C Y, C H I L D R E N ’ S H O S P I TA L C O LO R A D O
Heidi Baskfield currently serves as the Executive Director of Advocacy for Children’s Hospital Colorado. Mrs.
Baskfield’s responsibilities include: oversight of the Child Health Advocacy Institute; leading the hospital’s
population health strategy; and developing the hospital’s advocacy and legislative efforts to influence child
health policy at the local, state and federal levels. In addition, Mrs. Baskfield manages and oversees the
Hospital’s Global Health work. Heidi currently serves as Chair of the Board for the March of Dimes and
Chair Board for Coloradoans Protecting Patient Access. Finally, Mrs. Baskfield is a member of the steering
committee for the Campus Community Partnership.
Prior to joining Children’s, Heidi served under Governor Ritter’s administration as legislative program
manager for the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, where she developed and implemented
a natural resources policy and legislative agenda.
Prior to her work with the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, Heidi worked as an attorney for
the Office for Civil Rights under the U.S. Department of Education, where she advocated for children with
disabilities. Heidi has also worked as an attorney for The Legal Center for People with Disabilities and Older
People. Before earning her law degree, Heidi was press director for the La Jolla Group, a political consulting
firm, and director of sales and marketing for Believe Productions, an independent record label.
Heidi earned her law degree from California Western School of Law, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree
in Political Science from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.

Brad Begin is currently the CEO of Alpen High Performance Products, a manufacturer of high performance
windows and insulated glass products out of its Colorado facilities in Niwot and Denver. Alpen manufactures
some of North America’s most energy efficient window and glass products for both residential and commercial
projects throughout North America, with a specialty of supplying its product into high performance buildings
and homes. Begin first purchased Alpen in 2005, successfully sold the company in 2008 and repurchased
the company in 2012.
Begin is also the Managing Director of Pipe Industries Corporation since 2012. Pipe Industries is a large
diameter rolled and welded pipe manufacturer in Commerce City, Colorado, primarily providing casing pipe
to boring contractors for use in infrastructure construction projects.
Prior to his current business ventures, Begin led Metalwest, a Colorado-based flat rolled metal service
center headquartered in Brighton, Colorado, growing the company from 1994 to 2005 through greenfield
expansions to twelve locations throughout the Western two-thirds of the country. Metalwest (n/k/a O’Neal
Precision Flat Roll Metals) specializes in the processing and distribution of carbon steel, stainless steel and
aluminum flat rolled metal products.
Prior to beginning work with Metalwest, Begin practiced law in Dallas, Texas from 1985 to 1994. He holds
a BA degree in History and Political Science from Texas Christian University and a JD degree from the
University of Texas.
Brad is married to Bambi Wineland and has two children, Jo Jo, age 14 and Jac, age 11.
He and Bambi have lived in Boulder, Colorado since 1994.

Dr. Kenneth T. Bellian is the Chief of Clinical Operations at Denver Health. The Chief of Clinical Operations
(CCO) is the senior physician executive responsible for the operational and management activities of the
clinical services across the care continuum of the enterprise. The main objective is to ensure high quality,
patient and family centered care which is delivered in a cost effective and timely manner. He also holds a
faculty position at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head
and Neck Surgery.
Prior to joining Denver Health, he was in a single specialty group practice for almost 14 years in North
Carolina. During his time in North Carolina, he was a partial owner of a free standing Ambulatory Surgery
Center and an Independent Physician Association (IPA).
Dr. Bellian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Duke University and a Masters of Business
Administration with a certificate in Health Sector Management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke
University. He attended The University of Virginia where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine. He completed
his internship and residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Case Western Reserve University/
University Hospitals of Cleveland.

Kirsten Benefiel first came to Colorado in 1992 to attend the University of Denver. After graduation, Kirsten
chose a career in business consulting with Accenture, focused on organizational change and was a founding
member of their customer relationship management practice. During her career she led large-scale business
transformation programs for Fortune 500 companies, implementing customer-centric strategies. A 20-year
veteran in the technology sector, Kirsten has a successful track record delivering results and frequently guest
lectures and speaks on industry panels.
Currently, Kirsten serves as Vice President of Client Engagement for ViaWest, Inc., a leading provider of
Hybrid IT Solutions spanning cloud, colocation and managed services. She leads a team of IT enthusiasts
who are on a mission to transform IT infrastructure from a cost center to a competitive advantage for their
clients. A board member and chair-elect for Urban Peak, a nonprofit serving Denver’s homeless youth,
Kirsten supports many causes directly relating to children in transition and education in Colorado. She is also
a member of the Colorado Technology Association and the Customer Experience Professionals Association.
Kirsten is honored to be a part of the Governors Fellowship Program – getting the chance to collaborate with
(and learn from!) local public, private and nonprofit sectors to create opportunity for our state.
While a “Jersey Girl” at heart, she has made Colorado her home. Kirsten enjoys cycling, skiing, and dogs
enough to be considered “native-ish”. Kirsten has received her BA in Communications and MBA, with honors,
from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business. Kirsten is a proud (crazy?) mother to three very
active boys and loves spending time with them in the Colorado outdoors, together with her husband, Bradley.

Kevin Brinkman is Co-founder and President of Brinkman Partners, an integrated real estate solutions
company which he and his brother, Paul, founded in 2005. His professional background includes
experience in civil engineering, construction management, real estate brokerage, development, and capital
markets. Prior to founding Brinkman Partners, Kevin worked in acquisitions for the U.S. Department of
Defense. Today, he leads the company through the full cycle of investment activities including acquisition
and development, redevelopment, tenant/user management, and property exit and exchange.
He holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in
Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Since the company’s inception, they have been honored to receive such awards as the Northern Colorado
Business Report’s Mercury 100 Fastest Growing Companies every year since 2007, Best Start-Up Company
of the Year by the Fort Collins Coloradoan, the Bravo Emerging Entrepreneur Award, Colorado State
University Everitt Real Estate Center’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce
Small Business of the Year.

Luis serves as investments director at Gary Community Investments. His role includes identifying and
developing public-private partnerships, and executing on philanthropic, near-market, and market-rate
investment opportunities that encompass financial returns and social impact. He currently leads the
areas of impact investing, innovation, and community wealth building.
Duarte is a serial entrepreneur. His last venture, YoReciclo, where he last served as Chairman and Chief
Operating Officer, is successfully increasing recycling rates while also providing job opportunities for
distressed populations.
Luis has worked for the private and public sector. He has performed as consultant and engineer for the
plastics and construction industry, and has led a 200 staff organization for the public health sector in Mexico.
He holds a BS, cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering from Tec de Monterrey and an MBA, cum laude, from
Babson College where he was awarded the Babson Global Leadership Award. He was also a Fellow at the
Unreasonable Institute.
Duarte currently serves as advisor at the Colorado Impact Fund - VC fund, as member of the investment
committee at Aravaipa - efficiency tech VC firm, and advisor for Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network Colorado.
He is a mentor at Stanford Latino Entrepreneurs Leaders Program, and also holds board positions at Accion,
JoyBox Studios, and the Denver Business Series.
He lives in Denver with his wife and two sons.

Erik Estrada is both the General Counsel of the Level 3 Foundation, Inc., a Colorado nonprofit corporation,
and a Senior Corporate Counsel for Level 3 Communications, Inc., a Fortune 500 company. Prior to joining
Level 3, he was a Corporate Attorney at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP where he focused on securities law,
M&A law, nonprofit law, and corporate governance.
Before graduating from law school, Erik served as the sole Program Officer for the Boettcher Foundation, and as
a Trustee, Program Director, and Senior Fellow for the El Pomar Foundation. He presently serves or has served
on the Board of Directors for the El Pomar Foundation, Colorado Center on Law & Policy, Community Resource
Center, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Tony Grampsas Fund (appointed by Governor
Bill Ritter), University of Colorado Alumni Association, and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Erik is a graduate of the University of Colorado-Boulder (B.A.), where he was named a President’s
Leadership Class Scholar, the University of Colorado School of Public Affairs (M.P.A.), where he was named
the Outstanding M.P.A. Student, the University of Denver Sturm College of Law (J.D.), where he was named
a Chancellor’s Scholar, and the Boston University School of Law (LL.M.). Erik also served as a Graduate
Fellow at the School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.
In 2015, Erik received both the “40 Under 40” award from the Denver Business Journal and the Outstanding
Lecturer in Public Administration award from the University of Colorado School of Public Affairs. After
graduating from the University of Colorado-Boulder, Erik bicycled from San Francisco to Washington, D.C.
to raise funds and awareness for people with disabilities through his participation in the Journey of Hope.

Chris has over 20 years of experience in building and scaling high technology, high growth companies.
Chris has founded more than 10 startups focusing on emerging technology, data analytics, SaaS software
and data center systems. He has built companies funded by venture capital, angel capital and bootstrapping.
He is a respected mentor, board member and leader of the startup movement in Colorado. Chris has
run technology organizations with budgets from nearly nothing to $3.5B and enjoyed all of them. He has
managed multiple investment funds focused on Colorado start-ups and has served on numerous start-up
and nonprofit boards to drive the entrepreneurial ecosystem including the boards of Startup Colorado
and Peak Startup.
Chris holds a Master degree from Stanford University and a Bachelors from Worcester Polytechnic
Institute. Chris is passionate about driving startups to success through the right team, the right model
and the right funding.

Michael Hartman is a Senior Vice President for Mutual of Omaha Bank, responsible for leading the strategic
planning, deal origination, legal negotiation and documentation and oversight of the underwriting and
portfolio management functions for the Bank’s Corporate Banking division. He brings over 17 years of
entrepreneurial, financial, operational, and strategic experience to his role. His career has been focused on
analyzing, financing, investing in, and working directly with business owners to operate and manage middle-
market businesses.
Prior to joining Mutual of Omaha Bank in 2015, Mike spent 13 years leading the sourcing, negotiating,
and structuring of lower-middle market debt investment opportunities for GE Capital and GE Antares, with a
specific emphasis in supporting leverage buyouts for private equity firms. With GE Capital, Mike held roles
with the audit, underwriting and originations teams in Chicago, San Francisco and Denver.
Prior to his time at GE Capital, Mike spent three years in banking and real estate investment focused roles,
developing financial models, growth-oriented strategic alternatives and implementation plans as the
Executive Vice President of a student housing company.
Mike is involved in several professional, civic, and social organizations, including serving on the board and
as the President Elect for the Association for Corporate Growth’s Denver chapter and as Board Chair for Pi
Kappa Phi Properties.
Mr. Hartman holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at
Boulder’s Leeds School of Business and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University
of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Jim is Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer-Kidney Care at DaVita Inc. in Denver. Jim joined
DaVita in February 2012 as Vice President and Associate General Counsel. Prior to joining DaVita, Jim spent
14 years as a prosecutor and trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice. He joined DOJ through the
Attorney General’s Honors Program after earning his law degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
He started in the Civil Division of DOJ in Washington and returned to his home state of Colorado four years
later becoming an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado. Jim held
several leadership positions at the U.S. Attorney’s Office including Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division. He
was also co-lead prosecutor in the prosecution and trial of former Quest CEO Joseph Nacchio that resulted in
Mr. Nacchio’s conviction for securities fraud.
Jim grew up in Littleton and attended Colorado State University on a football scholarship. Jim serves on the
Board of Urban Peak (a local non-profit that serves homeless youth) and the Denver Civic Ventures Board of
the Downtown Denver Partnership. He now lives in Littleton with his wife and three children and is involved
in their activities including coaching and scouting. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities in his free time.

Tom Henley serves as an Area Manager for Community and Local Government Affairs for Public Service
Company of Colorado, an Xcel Energy Company. He serves the southeast and southwest Metro Denver area,
including Aurora. In this role, Tom is responsible for building relationships, community involvement and
enhancing business opportunities throughout the metro region.
He has been with the company since April 2005. Tom earned his degree in electronic journalism with a
minor in political science from Colorado State University. He also earned an Advanced Leadership certification
from the University of Southern California. He graduated from the Leadership of Aurora program established
by the Aurora Chamber of Commerce as well as Impact Denver developed by the Denver Chamber.
His work experience ranges from telecom to real estate and many other areas. He has more than 27 years
of experience in communications, starting as a reporter in television news. Tom also has experience in
lobbying, marketing, media relations and employee communications. He is a member of numerous area
Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development groups, including Board leadership positions. In
his spare time, he enjoys getting out in the mountains, hiking, biking, fishing and playing golf. He was
previously a volunteer coach for the majority of his son’s sports teams.

Mr. Holly was named Senior Vice President, Operations for Anadarko’s Rocky Mountain Region in November
2014. He is responsible for Anadarko’s oil and natural gas production and development activities throughout
Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. Previously, he served as Anadarko’s Vice President of Rocky Mountain
Operations. He also has served as the Vice President of Anadarko’s Southern and Appalachia Operations
overseeing the company’s operating activities in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
Mr. Holly began his career in 1994 with Amoco and joined Anadarko in 1997. During his 20 years of
experience, Mr. Holly has held positions of increasing responsibility in onshore and offshore engineering and
management. He has served as General Manager of Anadarko’s Greater Natural Buttes area in eastern Utah
and the Maverick Basin, which includes the Eagleford Shale development in southern Texas. Prior to that,
he served as Reserves and Planning Manager for the Southern and Appalachia region and was a reservoir
engineer and development supervisor on Anadarko’s Marco Polo and K2 developments in the deepwater
Gulf of Mexico.
Currently, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association (COGA), the Board of
Trustees for Mile High United Way, and the Industry Advisory Board for the Texas Tech Petroleum Engineering
Department. He is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He formerly served on the Colorado
Oil and Gas Task Force. Mr. Holly holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech
University. He also is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Kathy Lockhart is Vice President and Controller of Noodles & Company. Noodles is a publicly traded company
(NDLS) and has revenues of more than $400 million with over 400 company-owned and 60 franchised
restaurants in 34 states and Canada. Ms. Lockhart leads a team of accountants and analysts responsible for
financial reporting, risk management and compliance, tax and treasury. She joined Noodles in August 2006.
Prior to joining Noodles, Ms. Lockhart served as the Vice President and Controller of several public and
private restaurant and retail companies, including Einstein/Noah Restaurant Group, Boston Market, Village
Inn Restaurants and Bakers Square Restaurants, Ultimate Electronics and Pace Membership Warehouse.
She has been recognized for her ability to identify continuous change to reduce cost, enhance quality,
and provide valuable insight for operational improvements. She consistently employs an energized,
can-do management style utilizing financial knowledge, organizational skills, vision and tenacity.
She graduated from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado in 1986 with a B.A. degree in
Business Administration/Political Science. She was recognized as an Academic All-American in
basketball for two seasons.
She is a CPA and a CGMA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
and the Colorado Society of CPA’s. She is also a member of the AICPA’s Women’s Initiative Executive
Committee. She is also very involved in her community as the Treasurer for Greenwood Wildlife Rescue
and numerous small nonprofit groups helping schools.

SAM MEYERV I C E P R E S I D E N T, S H AW C O N S T R U C T I O N
Sam Meyer is a Vice President and partial owner of Shaw Construction, and is responsible for the overall
leadership and direction of project success on the Western Slope. Shaw Construction was founded in 1962
and employs 140 construction professionals in three locations: Denver, Colorado; Grand Junction, Colorado;
and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. With sales of over $250M in 2016, Shaw is also a four time national
Associated Builders and Contractors award winner.
Sam’s career with Shaw includes leadership roles in the Western Slope and Wyoming markets. Sam
was the division manager for the Jackson Hole office, overseeing the execution of business development,
pre-construction, and field operations for several years. Sam relocated back to the Western Slope in 2012
to lead the Western Slope team.
Sam’s experience ranges from luxury commercial and custom home construction to affordable housing
and civic projects. He is an expert in complex mountain construction with extensive experience building
in communities such as Aspen, Telluride, Breckenridge, and Jackson Hole.
Sam was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado and has a tremendous respect for Western Colorado
and a knowledge of local and regional market conditions. He resides in Grand Junction with his wife, Liz,
who is the CEO of the Colorado Mesa University Foundation, and his two children. Sam is a single engine
private pilot. He holds a M.S. from Northwestern University where he graduated first in his class and a B.S.
from Lehigh University.

Luisa Molano currently serves as Director of Recruiting for Englewood-based Arrow Electronics, Inc.,
a Fortune 150 company. Luisa’s HR career includes several years with ACT•1 Personnel Services, an
ACT•1 Group Company, and Sage Software. As part of her commitment to the community, she sits on the
Career Services Advisory Board for the University of Denver. Luisa has a deep passion for recruiting and
bringing teams together to collaboratively find ways of bringing the best talent possible Arrow Electronics.
A native of Southern California, Ms. Molano moved to Colorado in 2009. A self-proclaimed foodie, Luisa
enjoys spending her free time exploring Denver’s ever-expanding culinary scene and taking her canine
companion to dog parks.

Lindsay has worked for engineering and consulting firm CH2M for a decade in roles with increasing
responsibility. She’s an experienced consultant focused on strategy development, planning and
implementation. She’s responsible for the global asset management and operations management strategy
within CH2M’s Transportation Business Group. Lindsay leads an executive team comprised of asset
management practitioners who specialize in aviation, highways, ports, and transit in the United States, Europe
and Middle East markets, overseeing a project portfolio of more than $36 million annually. Lindsay also
consults with CH2M infrastructure clients, including the Colorado Department of Transportation, District of
Columbia, Department of General Service and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport among others.
Lindsay previously served as the Sustainability Director for CH2M’s Operations Management Services group,
which serves multiple industries including transportation, water and manufacturing. Under her direction, the
team successfully developed a global consulting service and project delivery program focused on operational
improvements that yielded $6.2 million in savings as well as significant impacts in electricity use, effluent
and biosolids reuse, waste diversion, ecosystem enhancements, and collective volunteer hours for client
organizations. The program earned the 2011 National Association of Water Companies Innovations Award.
Lindsay served as a founding board member and secretary for Johns Creek Beautification, a Georgia-based
organization dedicated to median and gateway beautification. She also served as the vice chair of CORE
for a Sustainable Colorado, a group dedicated to promoting sustainable business practices in the Colorado
business community.
Lindsay was born and raised in Colorado. She has a B.A. in political science from Metropolitan State College
of Denver and is pursuing her Executive Masters of Science in Transportation Management.

An SEC-registered Investment Adviser with approximately 60 team members and over $8 billion under

responsibility, but Min is involved in all aspects of Arrowpoint, including human capital and human
resources, business development, product development and corporate strategy. He is most proud of
Arrowpoint Partners being recognized by Pension and Investments (magazine) Best Places to Work in Money
Management in 2014.
Prior to joining Arrowpoint, Minyoung began his professional career as a Research Analyst at Janus Funds in
1998, at the height of Janus’ industry leading position in direct-to-retail no load mutual funds. From 2001
- 2003, Min was ranked the top Analyst by the Janus portfolio management team. From 2004 - 2007, Min
was the sole Portfolio Manager for the Janus Growth and Income Fund and the Janus Core Equity Fund,
managing $10 billion in Large Cap Equity strategies and earning a 5-star rating from Morningstar.
In the Community, Min serves on the Board of Directors of the Economic Club of Colorado, the Board of
Trustees for MCA Denver where he is Treasurer, and the Board of Trustees for Colorado Academy where he
is Chair of the Endowment Advisory Committee.

John Stephens is a Managing Director of Vestar Capital Partners, a leading middle market private equity firm
with over $8 billion of capital under management. Vestar specializes in management buyouts, corporate

John currently serves as a director of Roland Foods and St. John Knits and worked previously on Vestar’s
investments in Sun Products, Consolidated Container and Duff & Phelps. John also serves as an investment
committee member of the Colorado Impact Fund, a venture capital fund dedicated to supporting local
companies that generate consistent investment returns in addition to positive community outcomes.
Previously, John worked in Wachovia Securities’ Leverage Finance Group and at L.E.K. Consulting. John is
an alumnus of St. Andrew’s School, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Middlebury College and lives in Denver

An accomplished leader in the nonprofit and philanthropic community, Kristin Todd has dedicated her career
to advancing the nonprofit sector. Currently, Kristin serves as Senior Vice President for the Daniels Fund,
one of the largest private philanthropic foundations in the Rocky Mountain region. A member of the Fund’s
executive management team, Kristin directs the Daniels Fund Grants Program, which distributes more than
$45 million annually to nonprofit organizations throughout Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Utah.
Prior to joining the Daniels Fund, Kristin worked for El Pomar Foundation in Colorado Springs where
she served as Associate Vice President for Grantmaking and Communications. Before joining El Pomar
Foundation, Kristin worked for the Special Olympics World Games in Connecticut and the Office of
Presidential Advance in Washington, D.C.
Kristin is an active member of the Denver community. She has served on several boards including the
Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, Boy Scouts, Colorado Association of Funders, University of
Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs, and the Colorado Nonprofit Association, where she was past board
chair and member for six years. Kristin also serves on El Pomar Foundation’s Trustees Advisory Council. Over
the years, she has been appointed to serve on several state commissions and advisory councils related to
philanthropy and the nonprofit sector.
Kristin graduated from the University of Georgia, earning both magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa
distinction. She earned her master’s degree in public administration, with a concentration in nonprofit
management, from the University of Colorado.

Sruta Vootukuru is the Vice President of Business Development and Operations of Sling TV. The arrival of
Sling TV escorted a new era in the pay-TV industry, in many ways because of Sruta’s leadership. As the
lead for customer service, programming, partner relationships and product initiatives, she paved the way
for innovative partnership, technologies and operations practices within Sling TV.
Under Sruta’s direction, the Sling TV team became the first player in live Internet TV, successfully negotiating
and launching more than 20 live sports, news and entertainment networks in its “Best of Live TV” core
package alone, plus eight add-on packs and the complex transition of DishWORLD to Sling International.
Previously Director of Programming-Locals, Retransmission and International at DISH, Sruta has spent
the past five years in the pay-TV business with a focus on operations and multicultural marketing.
Prior to joining DISH, Sruta held positions in operations, strategy, marketing and business development in
several industries, including CPG, retail, financial services, biomedical and medical devices. Born and raised
in India, she holds a biomedical and electrical engineering degree from Case Western Reserve University
and earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

Hanne T. Wolf is Vice President, Office of the CEO for Liberty Global. Ms. Wolf leads the planning and
execution of the CEO Office agenda for the implementation of community relations and engagement
strategies. Ms. Wolf is the key liaison with community organizations, primarily in the Colorado area, working
collaboratively to expand relationships that yield opportunities for Liberty Global and for the community.
Ms. Wolf has a deep background at Liberty Global in leading external and internal communications, as
well as corporate responsibility, projects and activities. Since 1991, Ms. Wolf has held numerous positions
within Liberty Global and its predecessor companies. From November 2005 until May 2016, she worked
as Director and, most recently, Vice President of Corporate Communications. In prior years, Ms. Wolf held
positions within Business Development, Programming Development and Financial Modeling & Analysis,
providing her with a sound foundation and business acumen. Originally from Norway, Ms. Wolf spent
several years working for the Company in the UK and the Netherlands.
Ms. Wolf serves on the Board of the Biennial of the Americas. From a young age, Ms. Wolf has been an
active volunteer and served on numerous boards and committees, supporting institutions such as Graland
Country Day School, Colorado Children’s Campaign, Children’s Museum of Denver, Montessori School of
Washington Park, AIESEC Norway and the Norwegian Scout Association.
Ms. Wolf holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Denver
and a Bachelor of Science from the University College of Trondheim, Norway.
Ms. Wolf is married with two daughters. She is an avid runner and skier with a passion for adventure and

Paul Zeckser is Vice President of Product Development at HomeAdvisor, a leading home services
marketplace that matches homeowners to prescreened service professionals. While at HomeAdvisor, Paul
has built and launched three mobile applications for iPhone and Android platforms that were recognized by
This Old House Magazine and Wired Magazine as top home improvement apps. Paul is also responsible
for spearheading the development of HomeAdvisor’s Instant Booking and Instant Connect on-demand
scheduling platforms. Paul was instrumental in HomeAdvisor’s adoption of the Agile Scrum software
development process and a team-focused approach to solving customers’ needs.
Prior to joining HomeAdvisor, Paul was an Account Executive for Boston-based start-up Compete.com,
which was purchased by Millward Brown in 2007. While at Compete, Paul was responsible for adding and
managing several major clients, including Bank of America, LendingTree, State Farm, and Capital One.
Paul was a Fellow at El Pomar Foundation in Colorado Springs from 1999 to 2002, during which time
he served as the Director of the University Leadership Initiative and as Special Assistant to the El Pomar
Foundation’s Chairman & CEO.
Paul is the Board Chair of Montview Community Preschool and has also served on the Board of Directors for
Bird Street Community Center in Dorchester, MA and Northern Churches Care of Colorado Springs, CO.
Paul earned an MBA from the University of Maryland at College Park and a BA in International Affairs from
CU Boulder. His wife, Anne Austin Zeckser, is an attorney at Holland & Hart and a fellow Colorado native.
