Spain is a historically rich and beautiful country. This is where the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

had its 2011 Trade and Cultural Mission.

The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce took a group of members to Spain.

The trip was part business, part culture and all fun!

New Experiences

The trip was filled with new experiences in a beautiful country.

Historic Sites

There was a lot of rich culture to be taken in. The trip was filled with culture and business.

Time for Business

On Monday, May 16, 2011 the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and its members were greeted by

the Duke of Bexar in Sevilla.

A tour of the Befesa R&D Center was also

given.

Meeting with the Madrid Economic Development Agency. Bexar – Ma-drid business investment cooperation

agreement signed.

World Wide Cooperation

Presentation with the Madrid Network.

Visit with Jorge Zermeno Infante, Mexican Ambassador to Spain

Public Transportation

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was looking into public transportation in order to make San Antonio a more efficient city. They toured the Urban

Light Rail.

The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce visited the Madrid Metro & Transportation Management Center.

International Investment

The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce took a tour of BBVA Compass Bank in Madrid. Lunch was provided by BBVA Compass.

Biomedical Research

The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce had a meeting and took a tour of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park

Renewable Energy

They took their members to visit the Renewable Energy Plant in Barcelona.

Innovative Ideas

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce attended the 22@Barcelona Innovation District Presentation.

Leaders Wanted

The Chamber and its members also attended a meeting and had lunch with Atento Leadership. They are a call center for Latin

countries.
