(A Thames Water advert using a pun/wordplay)"I like this advert because it uses a clever play on words. There are two meanings of the same word working at the same time. So, "running water" means organising the water supply. It is also saying that the company is providing running water for us. It is effective because it's not a corny pun, which makes you want to groan. Instead it is clever and memorable and I have told several people about it because I appreciate it. I do remember that it is advertising Thames Water but it does not necessarily make me think I must have their water supply!" Pete Fawcett, IT consultant
