Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Świętokrzyskie Province, or Holy Cross Province (Polish: województwo świętokrzyskie) is one of the 16 voivodeships (provinces) into which Poland is divided. Welcome to our school in Piekoszów

• Our school in Piekoszów is a public school and it is run by Zespół Placówek Oświatowych, there are : kindergarten, primary school and secondary school in a complex of buildings. The school is situated in a lovely small town, 15 kilomteres far from Kielce.

About school in Piekoszów

The school is a public instytution where nearly a thousand of students receive their education and about 70 teachers are employed. The children are aged 3-5 at kindergarden, 6-13 at primary and 13-16 at secondary level. Our school is run by local goverment: Urząd Gminy Piekoszów.

Library Numerous meetings with famous writers take place at

the school library. Children willingly borrow books and paritciple in contests. The library is equipped with computers, all heaving an access to the Internet.

”Loads of pennies”

• In this charity action children collect money in change to help orphans and others who are in need.

ENTERTAINMENT

• Of course, we cannot forget about entertainment. Students from our school often go to the swimming pool, theatre, cinema, as well as to the concerts of classical music. The teachers organise a wide range of trips and camps- so called ‘’Green schools”, winter camps, walking trips and bike rides.

The school is safe and friendly! The school psychologist helps to handle

personal problems and other dilemmas. The school nurse watches over the students’ health.
