INTRODUCTION

There are now hundreds of thousands of PC Games are played by the public, and game development is the new industry which is booming since the development of Game Engines that provide Indi Game Developers like me to create and publish games easily with very less work as compared to basic c,c++. By the use of these game engines very high graphic games can be created in a substantial amount of time and work.

STORY LINE

This is an endless runner game. In this game the character is running on an endless road with obstacles and the player has to control the player using hand gestures and run as long as he can.

TOOLS USED

Unity3D: Unity is a cross-platform game engine with a built-in IDE developed by Unity Technologies.

Monodevelop: MonoDevelop is an open source integrated development environment for the Linux platform, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows.

Photoshop: Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editing program developed and published by Adobe Systems.

OVERALL ARCHITECTURE

This project is made in Unity3D, the Unity3D takes care of the physics, rendering and asset support.

The major work was to create gesture based recognition and assign different gestures to different inputs.

After this I created the player behavior the movement, animation, items, camera placement and detection by other objects.

FUTURE

In future this project can be extended to create a complete AAA standard game in which the player will have a verity of gesture controls. The game will be majorly a single player game with various missions in various parts of the world. The game will consist of a very high level AI so that the level doesn't feel recursive at all. The AI will be a learning system and as the player changes his tactics the AI will counter him in a similar way.
