In 1937, Gandhi’s basic education designed to set up free and compulsory education at the national level.

ConclusionIn spite of the financial constraints India faces, still Indian early childhood education has shown some advancements and improvements India’s National Policy has taken a strong stand on child-centered programs Early Childhood Education and Care (ECCE) will be child-oriented, Focused around play, and individually-oriented India is also an advocate of inclusion Montessori, Piaget, and Froebel have had a widespread influence on early childhood education in India, Curriculum in early childhood education is constantly revised to better meet children's needs.
