Question:

• How does Newton's first law of motion apply to seatbelt safety?

Hypothesis:• Newton's first law of motion will be mostly

about force and trying not to get the egg to break because if were gonna push the egg into the wall that will mean were using force to push the box and the egg might break when it's not taped down but if it is I really don't think the egg will break the tape is just like a seatbelt and the egg is just like a passenger :

Materials:

• Uncooked egg

• Shoebox

• Duct tape

Variables

• Control:egg,speed,push

• Independent variable:the use of tape

• Dependent variable:the use of no tape

Procedure • 1.place the uncooked egg into the shoebox

• 2. Restrain the uncooked egg by taping it to the bottom of the shoe box with two pieces of duct tape.

• 3. Forcefully slide the shoe box on the floor into the wall

• 4. Open the shoe box and observe

• 5. Place the uncooked egg into the shoe box on the floor into the wall

• 6.forcefully slide the shoe box on the floor in to the wall

• 7. Open the shoe box and observe

Data and observation

• The egg at first the egg did not crack then we added more force and it crack

Video

Analysis

• We saw that we used a lot of force

Conclusion:

• We learned all about Newton's first law of motion

• I really like this investigation because it tells mostly about force I like force because if you didn't have force and you were biking and you weren't using a lot force:

Newtons law

• This whole investigation is about Newton First law

• This is newtons first law of motion

What happen to the egg when we slid it into the will

• We slide it to the wall about two times and it crack and we tap it to the box
