The Media Wall…

What it is… It is NOT just four TV screens mounted

to a wall 4 Business-class video monitors Each has a small computer built in the

back Delivers content using special software that

is provided We don’t have to hide computers nearby Software acts as a scheduler which can

show different content at different times automatically

Also can function as a “Jumbo-tron”

Why we did it…

Two purposes originally Decoration Because we couldn’t do what we

REALLY wanted

Feeback & Problems

All Feedback WAY positive We take requests!

Problems/Challenges Not designed for what we are using it for Best Buy hates us Minor problems with video monitors Unanticipated complaints

Spidell Technology Center

What it is & why we did it… Queuing system for technology

commons Automated sign up for computers, but

how do students know where to go? Got the idea from the DMV Purchased 2nd screen as we thought

1st screen wouldn’t hold all the info Has CNN on it now

EXTREMELY popular
