You can access all of these databases at any National

Library branch.

If you are a regular Library Member of the NLB,

you can access databases from home or anywhere.

Each database interface is similar --e.g., Basic vs. Advanced search forms, as well as Boolean (AND/NOT/OR)

options for different fields (author, title, subject, publication, etc.)

Watch for full-text results -- they can be read, printed, e-mailed, etc. immediately.

If a search result is just a citation (i.e., author, article title, and publication name), you still have to get your hands on the article.

Most databases let you e-mail the search results to yourself

Many databases will also give you the information you need for your bibliography.

(MLA is the bibliographic format you must use.)
